Summer days

Hello my lovelies,
Guess who had a spontaneous beach day today? It was cute, my boss took me and my friend out to St Kilda and we had lunch and went to the beach and drank martinis in the sun. I've barely been doing anything with my life other than work, so it was so refreshing to go out. It was a weird moment, in the back seat listening to weird music from my boss's phone and looking through photographs from my SLR. There is always a strange beauty in simple moments, in the ones where you get to appreciate your life for how it is. There is enjoyment in watching the world go past and soaking up every moment of the sun, wondering if it will ever be that good again. Those are the days I feel I am living, and I cannot say they are not perfect.

It was a weird toss between beach clothes and casual clothes, so I went in the middle. Simple, black, lace trim shorts and a strapless ruffled top. It's the beach, afterall, so I paired it with a bright, tie-dye bag and left out the jewellery because that's a bit redundant to wear accessories if you're swimming (which I didn't do in the end but that's not the point). I really only have one pair of sunnies which are my Marc Jacobs, I'd consider getting a different pair of fashion sunglasses but seriously, who in their right mind would give up Marc Jacobs?

Amy.
