White and floral

Hello my lovelies,
I'm so sorry I neglected this so badly these past few weeks. I'd say it's been crazy, but I can't say it has been. I just work most days, and I haven't had a real opportunity to go out and get dressed up until recently. Monday we received our VCE results, that was a bit daunting.  I think I'm going to end up at Melbourne Uni, not that it's a bad thing, but just something I feel is going to happen regardless of the four hundred different courses that gets thrown my way. I also had a work party, which is why I got so dressed up.
I also passed my driving test! That was insanely exciting, so I've been driving around, basically as free as I can possibly be at 18years of age. The other day I went out to a university course change expo with a friend and I bought us ice-cream. It was the worst idea I've ever had. It melted absolutely everywhere in my car that at one point I was driving one handed and holding a dripping ice-cream in the other. I think it was one of my favourite days this week though, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. I was so stressed about courses and my future and money and everything was so momentarily dark, but in that moment I forgot everything.
I also had a Lord of the Rings marathon with my favourite boys. They were hopeless and wonderful all at the same time. Note to self: extended versions of LOTR are incredibly long, never think you can finish it AND The Hobbit in the same sitting. It is impossible. They also cannot cook, but I had fun attempting to keep track of five pans on my own.

Anyway, sorry, there's actually been quite a bit in my life lately. I even omitted some bits of my week (mainly a very interesting experience after the work party, ending up in some seedy bar/club in St Kilda and coming home at 3am...it was not meant to happen like that). But back to the real fun stuff, I'm wearing an oversized white shift dress that has a low v-neck and is open at the back. To make it a little dressier, I paired it with a pink floral kimono (so out of the ordinary, floral is never my cup of tea) and some platform strappy sandals. Again, my beloved Hunter Gatherer choker tops it off for the accessories, and my gorgeous new Michael Kors watch on my left wrist.
