Hello 2015

Hello my lovelies,

So, 2015? I have yet to think of a New Years resolution that isn't simplistic and vague like 'be happy'. I'm not sure if I should even have one this year, actually, but even so it's been a fabulous start to 2015 if I do say so. I saw the fireworks with a few friends in the city on NYE and finally said goodbye to the horror that was 2014. As much as I learnt about myself, my strengths, my weaknesses and my naivety, the entire year was a ball of stress, pain and brutal truths. I don't plan on revisiting it anytime soon in the future. 

This year I'm going to start university and I plan on being a complete and utter nerd. I don't even mind that I'll probably spend the next 8years of my life finding a career I enjoy, what can I say? Asian at heart. I'm saving most of my money, I'm not entirely sure what for but I'm just going to say Japan. Ever since I left that country I've been promising myself, and the people there, that I would return, and I plan to. I've been to a lot of countries, but Japan is by far one of my favourites. The food, people, culture and it's diversity from Australia makes it unique and beautiful, somewhere irreplaceable. I had some of the best memories in the month I was there last and I'm pretty excited to go back. 

Anyway, hello my weird summer outfit. I live in Melbourne, which (trust me) has the strangest weather you'll ever encounter. It rained all day, and then at about 4pm the sun came out and it was quite warm. But being Melbourne, I anticipated it would turn pretty ugly and cold later. So, I went for a weird half-half outfit. I've got these awesome baroque print, high waisted shorts that go with absolutely everything - that was the summer side. With that, I wore a cropped beige sweater that was quite loose fitting. Still ever-obsessed with chokers and my Michael Kors bag, so they also make an appearance. Thanks to Jane for being my photographer 90% of the time and not questioning my vanity. The quality isn't as good this time round because she took the photos on her SLR and had to send them to me, so apologies for that.

Anyway, my grandmother is downstairs chatting to one of her friends but she asked me to drive her to the bank later and I have to fill up my car so I should probably go do that.
